Summary/Objective (summary and overall objectives of the job):

In this position, you’ll play a crucial role in helping to grow our business and diversify our client base. This will be done by:

  • Leading the outside sales effort for engineering services and turnkey systems in our Food, Consumer Goods, and Process Engineering business.
  • Ensuring consistent client contact and sales opportunities to maintain an 18-24 month project backlog.
  • Developing strong/trusted relationships with colleagues and working in a highly
  • Understanding client priorities, identifying risks and challenges, and delivering solutions.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s
  • 5 years of relevant experience with the AEC (architectural, engineering and construction) industry
  • Business development experience in the engineering and/or professional services and consulting industry
  • Experiencing with building relationship-based sales processes, systems, and tools

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical/Scientific Discipline, Design, Business, Marketing, Communications or AEC related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience within the AEC (architectural, engineering and construction) industry
  • Extensive experience in Food & Beverage Manufacturing (strong focus on Dairy)

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Work Environment:

60-75% standard office setting

25-40% shop and manufacturing facility

Physical Demands:

Sufficient mobility to work in an office setting; stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. Must have ability to walk long distances and possess the flexibility to maneuver in and around machinery to take measurements. When on customer startups, must be able to travel long distances by car or plane and have the stamina to work extended hours (12+ hours per day) for up to 14 continuous days.

50% - 75%

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
